Frequently asked questions
What is Renuva?
Renuva is a premium architectural film — a self-adhesive interior finish that applies directly over existing cabinetry, doors, furniture, built-ins and wall panels. It renews a surface without demolition, replacement or repainting, and comes in 27 finishes across eight series.
What kind of adhesive does Renuva use?
Renuva is self-adhesive: the adhesive is already on the back of the film. It applies dry with a squeegee onto flat and gently contoured interior surfaces, and the substrate needs to be clean, degreased, dry, sound and non-porous or sealed.
Is Renuva for interior use?
Yes. Renuva is an interior architectural film, made for furniture, doors, cabinetry, built-ins and walls. Every finish has a durable wear layer with scratch resistance and stain protection, and wipes clean with a damp cloth.
Is Renuva fire rated?
Yes. Renuva is tested to ASTM E84, the standard surface-burning test for interior finishes in the US, by an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited laboratory, and is classified Class A with a flame spread index of 25 and a smoke developed index of 15. The High Gloss Solid series (HG) is rated Class B. ASTM E84 rates surface-burning characteristics only; it does not make a material noncombustible.

Can I order samples?
